A new idea came to me and it hit me so fast. I quickly wrote this post before it disappeared from my memory.
Lillesve is a place.
You can find it on a map but it’s not a place people travel to anymore. It lives in the memories of my ancestors, rooted in the land where they once stood and where they still rest today.
I do not know the Lillesve they knew.
I can only imagine it.
So I have created my own.
A place shaped by the landscapes I feel drawn to. Forests, open land, wildlife moving through it, seasons that take their time. A place where the land and those within it are deeply connected.
It is peaceful. Calm. A little magical.
It is a place I return to often, even if only in thought. And each time, I find something in it that feels familiar.
As a creative writing project, I want to begin exploring Lillesve more intentionally.
I will be writing short pieces that bring you into this world. Moments that reflect the land, the stillness, and the sense of connection I feel when I imagine it. This may evolve into audio recordings as full songs or guided meditations. Either way, you will be able to visit my Lillesve through sound.
This may not be the Lillesve that once existed.
But it is the one I know now.
And in it, I am able to slow down, let go, and appreciate the simple beauty of being here.
Moments in Lillesve will guide you through this place.
Through the forests and open spaces.
Through a feeling of calm and release.
Through small encounters, and the sense that there is more to the land than what is easily seen. A hidden magic for those who take the time to look closely.
